When founded: 1998 as "Sacramento River Partners"

Name changed: to "River Partners" in 2002 when our work expanded to the San Joaquin River.

Geographic scope:

6 major rivers in California - the Sacramento, San Joaquin, Feather, Tuolumne, Merced, Stanislaus.

Statistics:

  • Over 750,000 trees and shrubs have been planted to date
  • Over 6,000 acres have been put into restoration
  • $30 million have been invested in restoration and conservation activities.
